PORT ALLEGANY — Two Draw the Lines PA “Slay the Gerrymander” events will be held this month in McKean County, one in Port Allegany and one in Bradford.
Draw the Lines PA is a statewide civic engagement and education initiative to help Pennsylvanians reclaim the political redistricting process and end gerrymandering.
Hosting the events are S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library, Mount Jewett Memorial Public Library, the Hamlin Memorial Library and Bradford Area Public Library.
The first will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 24 in The Board Room, Port Freeze Restaurant, 212 N. Main St., Port Allegany. The second is set for 5 to 6:30 p.m. April 25 at Bradford Area Public Library, 67 W. Washington St., Bradford.
