Members of the Smethport Area High School’s National Honor Society assisted at Hamlin Memorial Library’s 32nd annual dinner auction, which had the theme of “Aloha” and was held Saturday night at the Smethport Fire Hall. One of the NHS members was Caleb Lutz, left, holding tickets and parking for the Penn State-Rutgers football game, which were donated by Jim and Sylvia Herzog and offered at the silent auction. More than 175 items were offered at the live, bucket and silent auctions in this, the library’s largest fundraiser.
