A Bradford woman was arraigned Wednesday night for allegedly lying on a federal form in an attempt to purchase a firearm.
Elizabeth Tucker, 38, is charged with two counts of making false statements in an attempt to purchase a firearm, third-degree felonies; and two counts of making false statements, third-degree misdemeanors.
According to court records, on Nov. 25, Tucker filled out forms at a store in an attempt to purchase a firearm. She indicated she had never been charged with a felony, when she had been arraigned on a third-degree felony charge for food stamp fraud.
She was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and released on $15,000 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court March 21.
