Between Feb. 4 and Monday, a Roulette man had activities scheduled in Pennsylvania district courts for three current criminal cases in two counties.
Zackary Snyder, 26, of Roulette, is facing charges in two firearm-related cases and a DUI case. He has three additional active cases in the Potter County Court of Common Pleas, too.
Coudersport-based state police announced on Monday that Snyder, 26, of Roulette, is facing allegations in Potter County that at 4:31 p.m. Oct. 13, he tried to purchase a firearm unlawfully from Perrys Sport Shop in Austin.
He was arraigned Feb. 4 before District Judge Annette Easton in Coudersport on charges of making a false written statement during the transfer of a firearm, a third-degree felony; and unsworn falsification to authorities. A preliminary hearing is set for March 14 in this case.
On Monday in McKean County, Snyder was scheduled for arraignment in one case and had a preliminary hearing for a second. Both were before District Judge William Todd, records indicate.
According to court records, Snyder is charged in the newer case with two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, both first-degree misdemeanors, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. The charges stem from allegations on Dec. 23 in Liberty Township.
While the online court dockets do not indicate that Snyder was arraigned, they do indicate that a request for a bench warrant was filed on Monday.
Regarding the preliminary hearing, the following charges were bound to McKean County Court: four counts of DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanors; one count of recklessly endangering another person, a second-degree misdemeanor; and the following summaries: failure to carry registration, driving without a license, failure to carry license, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked, U-turn unsafely, careless driving and reckless driving.
Meanwhile, online court dockets for three active cases — three different cases than above — in the Potter County Court of Common Pleas indicate Snyder is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at 2 p.m. today. He posted bail in January for all three.
Of the cases that are in the Potter County Court, two of them are drug delivery cases and the third is a theft case.
