Several students were named Bradford Area High School PRIDE award winners for the first marking period.
Recipients are Hali Hahn, Gabriella Nelson, Victoria Nelson, Abbie Kohler, Maeve Matheson, Ashley Jacks, Caleb Nuzzo, Abbie Nuzzo, Caleb Blake and Allen Haun.
High school students are nominated for the PRIDE award by staff, students or faculty. The nominations are reviewed by the PRIDE committee to ensure they fit within one or more of the criteria set forth by the PRIDE program. The winning students are awarded an exclusive PRIDE T-shirt, PRIDE car emblem, certificate of accomplishment and lunch donated by Crosby’s in Foster Brook.
The PRIDE program promotes pride in the school; respect toward all individuals; integrity, honesty, inclusion, loyalty and compassion for others; dedication to maximal effort in school-related activities; service to the school, community and others; positive efforts to demonstrate school spirit; optimistic attitude in spite of challenging situations; respect for and pride in the accomplishments of BAHS classmates and alumni; and ethical behaviors.
