LIMESTONE, N.Y. — Ardyth R. Van Scoy of Limestone and John T. Rupp of Reading were united in marriage in an outdoor wedding Oct. 6 in Limestone.
Ardyth is the daughter of James and Regina Van Scoy of Limestone. John is the son of Terry Hesketh-Rupp of Reading.
Ardyth is the education and exhibitions coordinator at the Tri-County Arts Council. John is a driver with TransAmerica Specialized Hauling Trucking Co.
Attendants were the sister of the bride, Meredith VanScoy, and the sister of the groom, Amy Pearsall.
The bridal gown, groom’s attire and attendants’ gowns were designed, patterned and created by the bride. The couple performed a Celtic Hand Fasting ceremony with a cloth woven by the bride’s mother.
Wedding music was provided by friends of the bride and groom — Luke and Charlotte YerpeStock, Boris and Talia Van Druff, Meagan Bell and Anita Norton. Nathan Bell was the officiant.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the couple will reside in Limestone.
