Tickets for downtown Bradford’s annual Winter Wine Walk are now available.
This year’s event will again follow the Old Fashioned Christmas, and will be held on Dec. 8.
Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com or at the following locations: Northwest Bank — both Main Street and East Main Street locations, Bella Capelli on East Main Street, and the Main Street Mercantile and Michelle’s Flair for Hair located on Main Street. The cost is $20 per ticket.
“The Bradford Winter Wine Walk is one of our most anticipated events and adds another popular attraction to our downtown holiday event calendar,” said Main Street Manager, Anita Dolan. “This event has several hundred participants each year and many wine walkers have returned year after year. Each year is a new experience because we have new stores and new wineries participating.”
This year’s event is no exception as there are several new wineries. Currently there are seven committed wineries, and the potential for three more, making a total of 10 wineries. At the request of participants, there will be more dry wines available in order to reach a larger group of wine lovers.
The Wine Walk will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. at Moments to Remember, located at 62 Main St. Porter service will be provided at no cost to participants. Porter service pickup will also be at Moments to Remember.
“From tasting unique wines, to exploring Bradford’s downtown shops and enjoying the historic holiday atmosphere, participants won’t be disappointed. And wine also makes a perfect hostess or Christmas gift,” Dolan added.
