Tickets are still available for the Bradford Area Public Library’s Taste of Bradford fundraising event.
The Taste of Bradford will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the Bradford Masonic Center, at 625 South Ave. Advance tickets are $25 apiece, or $30 at the door. All proceeds will benefit library services and programs. Tickets can be purchased at the library circulation desk, at the Tin Ceiling Gift Shoppe at 51 Main Street, or from library board members.
The Taste of Bradford offers an opportunity to enjoy food and drink samples from nine local vendors. Participating food and drink vendors are Chu-Lee Gardens, CJ Bar-B-Que & Catering, Four Mile Brewing, Jan’s Pastries, Kabob’s at the Option House, Port Freeze Catering, Tasta Pizza, Top of the Line Catering, and the Willows Restaurant.
Library Executive Director Lacey Love said, “All vendors will have a table at the event and will provide bite-sized samplers from one or more of their menu items. If you purchase a ticket it will give you access to all of that food and drink.”
There will also be a silent auction and cash bar, featuring a specialty cocktail. Silent auction items have been donated by Bradford Creative & Performing Arts Center, Pine Acres Country Club, and Zippo/Case Museum, as well as library staff and board members. Attendees can also purchase game paddles to participate in a Heads or Tails raffle for a lottery ticket tree. The library will still accept silent auction donations — gift certificates, tickets, items, and services — until Tuesday.
