The Bradford Area Public Library’s annual report to the community will be presented from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday with an introduction to new youth services librarian Debbie Deane.
Light refreshments will be served. All community members and library patrons are invited to attend.
The library board of trustees and Lacey Love, executive director, will present the annual report to the community.
Deane will discuss youth services programming at the library, which encompasses all children, age birth to 18. Love will discuss other library programs and community outreach initiatives, and will provide an update on the recently awarded Keystone Grant for Public Library Facilities. This grant will make possible the much-needed renovation of the public restrooms, and will allow the library to add a gender-neutral family restroom.
The board will formally honor donors and the library’s municipal partners for their generosity and support. A board member will also read the winning essays from this year’s essay contest. Programming staff and volunteers will be available to give updates on programming and outreach activities.
