STATE COLLEGE — WPSU will air a series of interviews featuring the Democratic and Republican candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives in three central Pennsylvania districts beginning Thursday.
Candidates will discuss several topics, including health care, climate change, trade, the political climate, the economy, the opioid epidemic, marijuana legalization and immigration. The interviews, which include candidates from the races within the WPSU coverage area, will air on WPSU-FM and WPSU-TV prior to the midterm elections on Nov. 6.
Interviews will air for the 15th Congressional District, Susan Boser (Dem.) and Glenn Thompson (Rep.) at 8 p.m. Thursday on WPSU-TV and at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 16 on WPSU-FM.
The WPSU Vote ’18 website includes information on how to register to vote prior to the Oct. 9 deadline, election updates, a quiz to see which candidates share a person’s views, information on the new U.S. congressional district lines, where to find polling places, and how to contact local elected officials.
