KANE — The deadline to register for the Oct. 11 Roach-Bauer forestry forum is approaching.
Reservations are required; no reservations will be accepted after Oct. 4.
The forum will feature Dr. Zachary Freedman from West Virginia University to present the latest information on nitrogen deposition impacts on fungal activity across a northern hardwood forest ecosystem.
The event, to be held at Grandma Bair’s Conference Center at 608 N. Fraley St., will begin with a no-host social hour at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
