No injuries were reported after Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department battled a house fire at 67 Southgate Road in Foster Township on Thursday.
Three engines, one utility truck and 21 firefighters were dispatched at 3:30 p.m. and Foster Township Police assisted on the scene.
According to Bradford Township Fire Chief Dan Burkhouse, the EMS officials arrived to a “moderate amount of smoke.” Burkhouse added that the fire was initiated in a back room on the first floor but was able to be contained and extinguished by an oxygen-absorbing fire extinguisher and water hose.
The owner of the property, Greg Grassi, described the home as unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The cause of the blaze and monetary value of damages were not available.
