Two people were jailed Thursday night on allegations they were manufacturing methamphetamine in their Liberty Township home.
On Thursday, detectives with the McKean County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the 195 Lower Portage Road residence of Rory D. Ford, 35, and Patricia Larson, 32, according to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer.

Shaffer noted that the Port Allegany Ambulance and Fire Department were on standby during the search.

They are charged with manufacturing or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine and two counts of possessing precursor with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, all felonies; operating a meth lab, a second-degree felony; two counts of operating a meth lab and illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste, all third-degree felonies; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors; two counts of illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste, third-degree felonies; operation of meth lab, a second-degree felony; and conspiracy to manufacture meth, a felony.
