According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on April 26, Newman stole a vehicle from his mother and tried to sell it; there were other items in the vehicle that were not recovered, too. He will be sentenced Aug. 2.

In one he’s charged with simple assault-mutual consent, and in the other he’s charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill said that on May 12, 2017, Duck was in an argument with Ronald Jordan, and strikes were thrown; then, on July 26, 2017, Duck possessed a silver spoon with drug residue on it. Duck will be sentenced next week.

When Reed was first charged, he and Amber Harris were accused of breaking into a shed in Bradford, damaging it, and taking items worth an estimated $2,672.

Franklin A. Lucas, 29, of Snow Shoe, pleaded guilty to a charges of possession of unstamped cigarettes. On March 12, Franklin possession about 2,800 unstamped cigarettes, said Grill. He will pay a $1,000 fine.

On Oct. 13, 2017, Riazzi took $74.36 in merchandise from Dollar General in Kane; then, on Jan. 6, she tried to conceal $46.69 in merchandise in another container in order to steal it, but she was not successful, according to Grill. She will be sentenced Aug. 2.

Suzanne R. Payne, 29, of Port Allegany, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI-controlled substance. She will be sentenced Aug. 2.
