    Big 30 Classic withdrawals and replacements

    The following players withdrew from the 2018 Big 30 Charities Classic Football Game: Nick Anders (St. Marys), Nick Becker (Randolph), Carter Brandes (Wellsville), Spencer Head (Eisenhower) and Zach Parr (Olean). Many of the withdrawals were due to College restrictions and personal reasons.

    The player bios for their replacements read as follows:

    Dakota Olson
    Franklinville-Ellicottville
    Height: 6’0”, Weight: 190 Lbs.
    Offense: LG, Defense: DE
    Dakota plans to attend Brockport University and major in Sports Management. He was named a 2nd team CCAA all-star and 2nd team Expressway all-star in wrestling. In addition, he was awarded the Academics-Principle Award, and an Outstanding Senior English Award. He is looking forward to playing one last game with kids he’s been playing against his whole life. He is happy to be a part of the Charity Game. His most memorable moments were being the smallest offensive lineman his whole life and having his dad at every football game since peewees. Dakota’s hobbies include, playing football, weightlifting, eating a lot and wrestling. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Jadeveon Clowney.

    Tim Ulinger
    Cattaraugus-Little Valley
    Height: 6’2”, Weight: 185 Lbs.
    Offense: FB, Defense: DE
    Tim plans to attend Jamestown Community College and major in Criminal Justice and go on to become a state trooper. Tim won the Coaches Award on his football team and was named 2nd team all-star for the league. He wants to play in one more game under the lights before he moves on in his adult life. His most memorable moment playing football was scoring a 57- yard, touchdown off a 31 wedge. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Le’Veon Bell.

    Marcus Morgan
    Kane Area High School
    Height: 5’8”, Weight: 160 Lbs.
    Offense: WR, Defense: DB
    Marcus plans on attending Slippery Rock University and pursue a career in Sports Journalism. His desire to play in the Big 30 Game is to have one last chance to play in a game with his friends. His favorite football memory was his team’s D-9 Title his sophomore year, and winning on a last second TD. His hobbies are playing basketball and football with his friends. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite players are Tyrann Mathieu and Odell Beckham Jr.

    Cyrus Novosel
    Kane Area High School
    Height: 5’8”, Weight: 180 Lbs.
    Offense: OL, Defense: LB
    Cyrus plans to attend Penn College in Williamsport to pursue a 2-year degree in Forestry. He is looking forward to going one last round, with all of his teammates and win the Big 30 Game. His most memorable moment playing football was when he got called up to varsity as a sophomore to start due to an injured teammate. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, playing video games, baseball and football. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Tyrod Taylor.

    Roman Napoleon
    Allegany-Limestone
    Height: 5’11”, Weight: 150 Lbs.
    Offense: WR, Defense: CB
    Roman plans to attend SUNY-Cortland to study Biochemistry. He was named 1st team all-league in football. He is looking forward to playing one more game with some of his teammates. His most memorable moment playing football was his teams goal line stand to beat Wilson. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is James Connor of the Steelers.
