A Bradford man waived a preliminary hearing Thursday in McKean County Central Court on burglary charges, according to court records.
Luke A. Wolfe, 20, will now face the following charges in McKean County Court: burglary, a first-degree felony; criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony; and theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, both first-degree misdemeanors.
The criminal complaint states that at 1:35 p.m. May 16, the McKean County 911 Center dispatched Bradford Township Police to a residence on West Corydon Street, Bradford Township, for a report of a burglary.
The residents told told police they were out from about 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and when they returned, they found someone had entered the home and stole oxycodone, a checkbook, three weedeaters, a mountain bike, a backpack, a pair of shoes, a vape cigarette and a necklace, the complaint stated.
Construction company employees who were working nearby reported seeing two males — one of them identified as Wolfe — and a female carrying three weedwackers and pushing a mountain bike toward Bradford City. Footage from a Bradford City security camera also showed the three people –– Wolfe; Joseph B. Frontera III, 25, of Bradford; and Tammy S. Allen, 46, of Bradford, along with another male, on East Corydon Street, according to court records.
During interviews with police at the Bradford City Police Station, the three allegedly admitted to stealing from the residence, and several of the items were returned voluntarily, court records indicated.
Frontera and Allen are facing the same criminal charges as Wolfe.
All three are in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 each for the burglary allegations.
