KANE — A Kane man is in McKean County Jail, charged with choking his fiancée during a domestic dispute at their residence Wednesday night.
Christopher Bundy, 28, of 335 Chase St., is charged with strangulation, a second-degree felony; endangering the welfare of a child, a first-degree misdemeanor; and simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, police were called to the couple’s residence just after 8 p.m. Wednesday. The victim told police she and Bundy had been arguing and she picked up the couple’s son and started to leave the residence. Bundy grabbed her by the throat and arm, telling her she wasn’t taking his son. He told police he had lost his temper and grabbed her, court records allege.
Bundy was arraigned before District Judge David Engman and remanded to jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court July 5.
