The Port Allegany High School 2018 graduation ceremony took place Sunday afternoon at the school.
Class President Tyler Lashway gave the welcome address.
The top four students in the class spoke on the theme of soar. The speakers were introduced by High School Principal Marc Budd. Speaking on success was Shaylee Caulkins followed by Lauren Dynda who spoke on opportunity. Salutatorian Katherine Ernst’s topic was appreciation and valedictorian Tyler Lashway spoke on resilience.
Superintendent Gary Buchsen addressed the audience before awarding the diplomas. Budd presented the students.
The commencement band provided music for the ceremony.
