Bill Jarrett, Seth Kibble, Penn State Master Gardener coordinator and instructor Richard Putnam, Steve Ridell, Gail Ridell and Debbie Babcox were among the attendees Saturday morning at a well attended event at the Donald J. Comes Natural Resource and Learning Center. The Penn State McKean County Master Gardeners presented a program instructing participants how to plant and grow oyster and shiitake mushrooms in logs. All supplies were provided and attending participants received sawdust spawn and a log that they inoculated on site and took home with them.
