    Plenty of local wins at Coudy Booster Invite

    COUDERSPORT — Several North Tier teams were in action over the weekend at the Coudersport Sports Booster Invitational.

    Coudersport’s Adrian Page was the big winner on the girls side, as Page took first place overall in the javelin, discus, and shot put.

    Sara McKean of Oswayo Valley earned a pair of firsts in the long jump and triple jump, as well as a pair of seconds in the 100 and 200.

    Also earning wins on the girls side were Tianna Bowser of Coudersport (800) and Mauley Fox of Port Allegany (pole vault). The Port Allegany team of Gracie Archer, Shaylee Caulkins, Erin Stauffer, and Rosie Thomas won the 3200 relay. Bowser also finished third in the pole vault.

    Cameron County’s Kamme Guisto earned three second-place finishes in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump.

    Other second-place finishes included Cameron County’s Morgan Lorenzo (100 hurdles), Northern Potter’s Amanda Ford (1600, 3200), Coudersport’s Dana Dubots (400), Rosalyn Page (discus), and Lanie Cobb (shot put).

    Dylan Close highlighted the boys side with a trio of first-place finishes, as the Otto-Eldred senior won the javelin, long jump, and triple jump.

    Other first-place finishes included Smethport’s Christian Tanner (1600), Coudersport’s Derek Keglovits (800), Coudersport’s Tristan Amell (3200), Otto-Eldred’s Jordan Sherwood (shot put), Coudersport’s Hunter Ricke (high jump), and Port Allegany’s Trey Stiles (pole vault).

    Smethport’s 3200 relay team also took first place.

    Keglovits added a second-place finish in the 3200, while Sherwood and Stiles finished third in the discus and long jump, respectively.

    Others earning seconds were Otto-Eldred’s Ethan Smith (110 hurdles) and Jesse Bennett (long jump), Smethport’s Darion Gregory (1600), Port Allegany’s Bryce Baker (200), Cameron County’s Nate Williams (discus), Coudersport’s Jared Green (triple jump), Cale Ayers (shot put), and David Kudrick (pole vault).
