Southwestern York-Penn Doll Club members Molly DeCapua of Olean, N.Y., foreground, and Karen Ostrum of Bradford, display DeCapua’s kewpie doll collection during a doll show Saturday at the Chapel Ridge assisting living facility in Bradford. The presentation for Chapel Ridge residents included information on the former Cameo Doll Co. of Port Allegany, where kewpie dolls had been made. DeCapua had displayed much of the same doll collection at her former place of employment, the now defunct F.R. Brothers Pharmacy on North Union Street. The club, which comprises residents of New York state and Pennsylvania, gives presentations and shows at various venues throughout the area.
