    Bradford United Soccer weekend roundup

    The Bradford United soccer teams had a number of games over the weekend.

    Signature Smile Designs Inc: Kurt J. Laemmer DMD U9 Coed (1-0) defeated Concord FC 7-0 Saturday.  Scoring for United were Evan Troisi (4), Colin German (2), and Mason Close. Troisi scored one of his goals off of a penalty kick. Henry Abrams and Brysyn Geist each had assists during the game. Mason Close made four saves in goal in the first half and Alexis Kicior made six more saves playing a great second half in the net. Sean Fox provide a strong defensive performance for Bradford. Alexis Kicior was named the STAR player of the game by Concord FC.
    Allegheny Site Management U11 Girls (0-1) lost 5-3 to Randolph Saturday. Bella Prince scored two goals and Kierstin Taylor added a third off of a penalty kick for Bradford. Taylor had two assists in the game. Madison Rimer and Samantha Miller combined the work in goal for United. Jaydon Hogue contributed a solid defensive performance from the Center Back position.
    Rookies Sports Bar U11 Boys (0-1) lost 2-1 to Enchanted Mountain SC Saturday. Landon Lohrman scored the lone goal for Bradford off an assist from Enzo Aiello. Joesph Caruso was goal for United making 5 saves. Trenton Johnson, Owen Manion, and Logan Claycomb anchored the defense throughout the game. Johnson, Gabe Tate, and Kaden Kicior provided offensive support in the second half as the team pushed to score a late goal before time expired. Jaron Lohrman was named the STAR player of the game by EMSC.
    Kessel Construction  U13 Girls (0-2) lost to Enchanted Mountain SC by a score of 5-0 Saturday. Camryn Tilford and Dawn Flynn combined to make seven saves in goal. Playing without any substitutes, United took a 2-0 deficit into half time but were unable to find the energy to create a comeback. Olivia Coles and Bailee Fitzsimmons contributed strong performances as central defenders. Kendall Case was named the STAR player of the game by EMSC.
    Smith Brothers Plumbing & Heating U13 Boys (2-0) notched their second victory of the season over Enchanted Mountain Soccer Club Saturday by a score of 6-3. In goal were Jaxon Faes (5 saves), Tristan Dragoon (3 saves), and Nick Brown. Scoring were Brady German (1) and Jake Franz (5). Assists were distributed by Tristan Dragoon, Lucas Johnson, Colin Conneely, and Mitchell Strauss (3). The defense was solidified by Kelly Laird, Patrick French, and Max Shaw. Alex Rimer and Ethan Claycomb played exceptionally well when asked to play on both offense and defense. Ward Kennedy showed great stamina on both sides of the ball. Kennedy was named the STAR player of the game by EMSC.
    C.J. Wallace Engineering U15 Boys (0-1-1) lost Sunday 1-0 to Bemus Area YSO. Tyler O’Neil was in goal for Bradford making five saves. The winning goal was scored in the final ten minutes of play. Zach Williams, Ethan Tate, and Christian Peterson provided solid defensive performances throughout the game. O’Neil was named the STAR player of the game by BAYSO.  
    Foster Brook Glass & Mirror U18 Girls (1-1) lost their first game of the year to Enchanted Mountain SC 6-2. Goals were scored by Regan Johnson and Laney Kahle. Assists were credited to Victoria Stuck, Chloe Shaw, and Mackenzie Lucas. Samantha Thomas was in goal with 6 saves. The girls fought hard to the end through windy and cold conditions.

    Sundahl U18 Boys (0-0) began play against Southwestern Friday night. Bradford was winning 2-0 at halftime before the game was suspended due to weather.
