A Bradford woman who is facing criminal charges in three cases waived preliminary hearings on Wednesday, one before District Judge Richard Luther and two before District Judge Dominic Cercone.
Holly L. Major, 33, is charged in one case with endangering the welfare of children, a first-degree misdemeanor, and smelling/inhaling toxic releasing substances, a third-degree misdemeanor; in a second case with criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor; and in a third case with retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft, both third-degree felonies; and criminal mischief, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on Nov. 26, Major passed out after huffing air duster in front of a child; there were three children and multiple adults home at the time.
On Jan. 10, Major and another woman allegedly broke into a locked display case at the Washington Street Outlet and took five silver $50 certificates worth a total of $250, seven coins worth a total of $175, a candle and other items worth $15, a $10 silver certificate and a $25 bill from the Philippines. A display case allegedly was damaged at an estimated amount of $800 while Major was removing items, court records allege.
Then, on Jan. 21, Major was arrested at an abandoned house after she and another person allegedly went inside to smoke marijuana because her feet were cold and wet, court records indicated.
She is free on unsecured bail.
