Assault charges against a Bradford man were bound to McKean County Court at a preliminary hearing held Wednesday before District Judge Dominic Cercone.
Precious A. McBride, 40, faces charges of strangulation, a second-degree felony; terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; and simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on Jan. 12, the alleged victim told police McBride “came home drunk” and they argued, at which point he “trashed the bathroom,” cut her leg and choked her until she nearly passed out. She told police McBride said he had a gun and threatened to kill her, but she did not see the weapon, court records stated.
McBride is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
