SMETHPORT — Makayla Gould, 15, is a member of the McKean County Wranglers and the Teen Council, and she is the featured 4-H member for spring 2018.
Her 4-H projects include the following activities: performance horse, junior horse, swine, lamb and leadership.
In recalling her positive experiences in the group, Makayla said, “My favorite 4-H memory is earning the Rookie Girl award my first year in 4-H.”
Makayla said she joined 4-H when she learned about the group because she had just gotten a horse.
She continues her interest in horses outside of 4-H through her membership in the National Barrel Horse Association.
