SMETHPORT — A Smethport man was sent to jail Thursday on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Cattaraugus County, where he is wanted on charges including rape.
Adam Dwight Bachman, 33, of 6091 Route 46, was arraigned before District Judge Bill Todd and remanded to jail without bail, awaiting extradition.
According to the criminal complaint, Bachman is charged in Cattaraugus County with two counts of disseminating indecent materials to minors, two counts of a criminal sex act and one count of rape.
He was arrested by Smethport Borough Police on Thursday.
