The family of Lloyd Emery Eastman was presented with a letter, citation and plaque in honor of his service with the Port Allegany Rotary Club. The letter was sent from the President of Rotary International, Ian H. S. Riseley, congratulating Eastman on his 48 years of Rotary service and on maintaining a significant perfect attendance record. The Distinguished Service Citation was given in honor of unselfish service from Rotary District 7280 and signed by District Governor Judith Hughes. A plaque, designed and created at the Seneca Highlands Career Technical Center, was presented by the local club in appreciation of service, dedication and leadership. Doing the honors were club president, Anna Fair, and her husband, Dave. The presentation date was changed to take place at the annual holiday dinner following Eastman’s passing on Jan. 12. Accepting the awards were Pam Eastman Fischer, an honorary member of the Port Allegany Club, her husband, Charles Sr., and daughter, Alexis Fischer Reed.
