SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman wanted on a warrant out of Cattaraugus County, N.Y., turned herself in to Bradford City Police on Friday.

Shawna Nicole Marie Gault, 23, 54 High St., was arraigned Friday night before on-call District Judge Bill Todd as an arrest prior to requisition, and remanded to McKean County Jail without bail pending extradition to New York.

According to the criminal complaint, she was wanted on a warrant, signed Dec. 4, for failure to appear for arraignment on new charges relating to drug and vehicle offenses. Knowing that police were searching for her in the Bradford area, Gault turned herself in on Friday, the complaint read.
