After playing well in the first half, the Bradford girls basketball team couldn’t keep it up in the second half as the Lady Owls fell to DuBois 50-31 in Wednesday’s D-9 League contest.
Chelsea DeSalve led the Lady Beavers with a game-high 16 points, with Sarah Snyder and Ashley Hallowell both finishing with 11.
Kate Huber led Bradford with 11 points, with Hannah Lary adding seven of her own.
“I thought Kate Huber and Morgan Tyger (two points) played very well tonight, one of the better games they’ve played this year,” Bradford coach Bob Hannon said. “We hung close in the first half but we just didn’t have enough in the tank to get through the third and fourth quarters.”
Bradford (2-10 overall, 0-3 NTL) will host Punxsutawney on Friday.
