Any local directors and actors who have a show in mind they’d like to direct for the Bradford Little Theatre are invited to share their ideas at an upcoming meeting.
BLT will hold two show pitch meetings this month to begin to plan its 22nd season. The meetings will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 17 and from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 20 at Togi’s Playhouse, 18 Welch Ave.
Season 22 will begin in August 2018 and run through the end of July 2019, and ideas for shows that can be held during that time period will be considered. Proposals will be accepted for any type of show — musical, comedy, drama — or special events like recitals, performances or other events.
“We are excited to see what people bring to the table for our upcoming season,” said Chelsea Place, BLT secretary. “Our shows are selected from the pool of submissions that come out of these meetings. It’s an exciting time of year for us as we start to plan what we will be doing next.”
Anyone who would like to direct a show during the 22nd season is asked to print the show proposal form, fill it out and bring it to one of the pitch meetings. Forms can be found at www.bradfordlittletheatre.org/showplanningform2018.pdf.
For those who want to direct a show but can’t make the meeting, they are invited to email proposals to contact@bradfordlittletheatre.org by Jan. 20, and a board member will present it on that person’s behalf.
Anyone with questions can contact Chelsea Place at 814-598-9956.
