Northwest Bank recently donated $25,000 to support the YWCA Bradford’s capital fund campaign to relocate to the former Second Ward Elementary School in the city.
“We’re proud to support the YWCA Bradford,” said Lauren Bly, manager of the Northwest location at 33 Main St. in Bradford. “We appreciate the opportunity to give back to local organizations like the YWCA that do so much good in our community.”
YWCA Bradford executive director Vanessa Castano shared some comments.
“The support of our community is imperative to the success of the whole,” she said. “Our friends and supporters should find pride in the fact that they are a part of every success our participants reach. Northwest Bank has been a part of these successes for years, and we are so appreciative of the investment they have made in the YWCA Bradford.”
Northwest Bank officials says they believe in giving back to the community by helping out local organizations like the YWCA through volunteerism, community giving and spreading awareness.
