Two people were jailed on drug delivery allegations in Bradford over the weekend.
While court records indicate both William Wesley Brown, 30, of Bradford, and Dwayne A. Higgs, 37, of Buffalo, N.Y., were arrested for alleged incidents that took place Friday, it was unclear if there was any connection between them.
According to court records, Brown is charged with three counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, all felonies; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. His case was filed in the office of District Judge Dominic Cercone.
Meanwhile, charges against Higgs, filed at the office of District Judge Richard Luther, were two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, both felonies; possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked, a summary charge, court records stated.
No further information details on the allegations were available Sunday night.
Both men were arraigned Saturday before District Judge David Engman and committed to McKean County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, and they are scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
