A silent auction, acoustic music and more activities will be showcased at the 25th annual Oktoberfest/Public Auction in Bradford on Oct. 21.
The event, being hosted by the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with signature sponsor Northwest Bank, will take place at St. Bernard Parish Center gymnasium at 95 East Corydon St.
“We work with local businesses and community members to not only showcase their products, service and talents but also to help promote and support the Bradford area,” said Kara Kennedy, executive director of the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce. “This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we are very fortunate that we have generous donors and patrons who continue to invest in the Bradford area business community through collaboration with the Chamber.”
Doors will open at 5 p.m., with silent auction bidding, pretzel drawings and acoustic music by Sauerkraut Overcoat. Judging for the best traditional Oktoberfest apparel will take place before the live auction.
The auction will begin at 7 p.m., and feature a variety of merchandise and getaways, and Sauerkraut Overcoat will return to the stage from 9 to 11 p.m.
There is a cost for the event. For more information, contact the chamber office at 814-368-7115 or kara.kennedy@bradfordchamber.com.
