SHEFFIELD — Sawyer Drummond continues to lead the Otto-Eldred football team.
On Saturday afternoon, the O-E quarterback threw four touchdown passes and the Terrors (3-3) toppled Sheffield, 40-6, in an Allegheny Mountain League North Division game.
Drummond tossed TD passes to Cameron McGee (51 yards), Nick York (10), Gage Babcock (11) and Cole Sebastian (22).
Babcock and Dylan Close rounded out the O-E touchdown count with runs of 5 and 45, respectively.
Sheffield (0-5) got on the scoreboard with 22 second left in the game when Cale Albaugh hit Joshua Agudio on a 50-yard pass play.
Kane 49, Elk County Catholic 9
ST. MARYS — Erik DeLong scored three times and Reed Williams passed for two more scores as Kane rolled by Elk Catholic, 49-9, on Saturday night in St. Marys.
Kane (6-0, 2-0 AML South) was led by DeLong’s 150 yards on 13 carries. Williams was 12-for-17 passing for 150 yards and an interception. Ange Costanzo (eight rushes, 96 yards) caught a touchdown pass, as did Jake Alcorn (four catches, 72 yards).
ECC (2-4, 0-2) got a 27-yard Leo Gregory field goal and an 11-yard Stephen Bobby touchdown run. Bobby had a career night running 18 times for 184 yards and the score while adding an interception on defense.
