SMETHPORT (EC) — “Locations/Cities” is the theme of Smethport Area High School’s 2017 homecoming parade slated for Friday.
At 5 p.m., the parade will form on West King Street behind the county courthouse. The line of march moves out at 5:30 p.m., proceeding south on State Street to West Main Street, east to Mechanic Street and south to the high school.
“Spirit Week” activities at the school this week include “dress up days” for the students with the following themes: Twin Tuesday, career day on Wednesday; tourist day on Thursday; and orange and black day on Friday.
The announcements of the homecoming queen and floats’ judging will be made during the halftime ceremonies of the football game with Port Allegany.
The homecoming dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday in the high school gym with music by McRay Sound.
