Two N.Y. residents plead guilty to drug charges

SMETHPORT — Two New York state residents pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to drug charges.

Samuel A. Jackson, 43, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Jennifer N. Campbell, 35, of Limestone, N.Y., each pleaded guilty to allegations from an incident on June 20. Jackson entered a plea to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility; while Campbell entered a plea to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a contraband by an inmate.

According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on June 20, Jackson and Campbell each possessed with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Court records filed at the time of their arrest indicated that Jackson and a co-defendant sold crack cocaine to Campbell, then she sold it to a confidential information with the McKean County Drug Task Force. The deliveries were arranged by telephone, said Shaffer. Also, Shaffer said that Campbell was in possession of two small packets of crack cocaine. Jackson and Campbell will be sentenced Sept. 21.

Also in court, Tammie M. Antonuccio, 38, of Kane, pleaded guilty to charges in two cases. She’s charged in one case with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and in the second case with recklessly endangering another person. According to Shaffer, on Jan. 9, 2015, Antonuccio delivered 22 methylphenidate pills; then, on April 20, a 14-month-old child who Antonuccio was supervising wandered outside alone and got off the porch; a neighbor found the child in the rain wearing nothing but a dirty diaper after the child had been outside for 30-40 minutes. Antonuccio will be sentenced Oct. 5.

Constance T. Burke, 28, of Rochester, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated assault. According to Shaffer, on July 24, Burke repeatedly struck two emergency services personnel with her hands and feet. Burke will serve 15 to 30 months in state prison with credit for 38 days of time served.

Pamela J. Hoffman, 45, of Smethport, pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault. According to Shaffer, on April 4, Hoffman punched a nurse in the emergency room at Bradford Regional Medical Center. She will be sentenced Sept. 21.

David A. Cabisca, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and four summary charges. On Aug. 26, 2016, Cabisca, who was under the influence of alcohol, tried to hurt one person, had physical contact with a second and punched a third; he damaged a window and door, causing less than $500 in damage; and tried to prevent a police officer from arresting him, by pulling his arm away, according to Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill. Cabisca will be sentenced Oct. 5.

Joseph L. Phillips, 36, of Kane, pleaded guilty to charges of indecent exposure, theft by unlawful taking, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. On June 3, Phillips stole Beats headphones and alcohol from someone’s vehicle, exposed his genitals in public, caused police to have to use force to arrest him and possessed a pipe used to smoke a controlled substance, according to Shaffer. He will be sentenced Sept. 21.

Zachery S. Malobicky, 19, of Kane, pleaded guilty to charges of obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation and possession of a controlled substance. On Feb. 15, Malobicky illegally acquired 82 alprazolam pills by altering a doctor’s prescription, according to Grill. He will be sentenced Oct. 5.

Jonathan G. Piller, 45, pleaded guilty to charges of forgery and theft by unlawful taking. In 2015, Piller forged four business checks, receiving $905 that was not his, Shaffer said. He will be sentenced Sept. 21.

Jake A. Cabisca, 19, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges in three cases. He’s charged in one case with simple assault and in two cases with retail theft. According to Grill, on Feb. 6, Cabisca hit a female in the head; on March 15, he stole a watch worth $10.88 from Walmart in Foster Brook; and on June 7, he took a can of Red Bull worth $2.79 from Tops Supermarket in Bradford. Cabisca will be sentenced Sept. 21.

The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Sabrina L. Martin, 26, of Smethport, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; Keifer J. Johnson, 21, of Kane, for DUI controlled substance; Matthew J. Ekas, 40, of Rixford, for DUI alcohol; and Patricia A. Golden, 55, of Bradford, for retail theft.
