Something else is being cooked up at 32 Bolivar Drive in Foster Township –– and it doesn’t involve Domino’s pizzas.
Instead, sale agreements are being inked inside the building, now the home of Howard Hanna Professionals real estate, which includes Penn Laurel Realty, DBP Realty of Olean, N.Y., and Howard Hanna Holt Real Estate in Chautauqua County.
A grand opening celebration took place on Thursday –– officially ushering the start of the new venture, something that Mike DePalma, who is an associate broker and a state certified appraiser, called “absolutely wonderful.”
For a long time, Howard Hanna has wanted to have a presence in McKean County, said Tom Schoeller, senior vice president of franchising, mergers and acquisitions with Howard Hanna.
Rather than establish a new office in the Bradford area, officials wanted to begin with an already-established team of real estate agents, he said.
The idea for a merger was birthed last year so that the local sales and management team could be put with the strength and resources of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, which has 270 offices and more than 9,000 sales associates and employees. The local team includes about a dozen agents.
Howard “Hoddy” Hanna III, chairman and CEO of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, based in Pittsburgh, said he has long loved Bradford.
“It’s good to be here. It’s a great town. It’s a great American town,” Hanna said.
Schoeller said he is excited for Howard Hanna to be in Bradford. He said sellers and buyers both have advantages with working with Howard Hanna. For sellers, there is wider exposure for their properties. And plenty of resources are available for buyers, Schoeller said.
And for clients dissatisfied with their house purchase, Howard Hanna Professionals has a 100 percent money-back guarantee.
