A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly failing to return a borrowed truck.
Bradley J. Locke, 43, is charged with theft by unlawful taking, a third-degree felony; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a second-degree misdemeanor; and driving without a license, a summary.
According to court records, at 8:18 p.m. Thursday, Foster Township Police were dispatched to a Bolivar Drive residence. The woman at the location said she and Locke had been in a relationship and he was moving out. She said he had taken her truck. Police spoke to him by phone and he said he’d had permission to use the truck to remove his belongings from the alleged victim’s home. Police told him the victim wanted her truck back and he had to return it as soon as possible; he did not, records read.
He was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 monetary bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on June 22.
