SHINGLEHOUSE –– Katie Sheeler and Brianna Heller each went 3-for-4 at the plate to help the Eldred Storm to a an 8-6 win over Shinglehouse, completing a 13-0 Bradford Regional Little League major division softball season.
Sheeler also scored three runs, while Heller batted in three runs in the total team effort. Suzie Rounsville added an RBI single and Heidi Gordon had two RBI singles.
Heller, Sheeler and Kate Rhinehart combined for the pitching win, striking out 10, walking six and allowing seven hits.
Graves and Messler (10 strikeouts, 12 hits, five walks) combined for Shinglehouse in the pitching loss. Enty had an RBI double and Phillips was 2-for-3.
