A Buffalo, N.Y., man who allegedly beat up two others in a fight inside Country Fair is in McKean County Jail on assault charges.
Jamie Reedus-Gilyard, 25, is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, a first-degree felony.; four counts of simple assault and one count of conspiracy to commit simple assault, second-degree misdemeanors; and one count of disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor.
At 2:34 a.m. Dec. 18, officers responded to a fight inside the Country Fair. Watching the video surveillance at the store, officers saw Reedus-Gilyard and another male on top of Matson Stewart, striking him in the face. Reedus-Gilyard then began to strike Evan Smith in the face multiple times, according to court records.
Reedus-Gilyard was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and remanded to McKean County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court June 15.
