SMETHPORT — A second charge has been added in a theft case against an Eldred woman.
Melissa Kay Moyer, 38, was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge William Todd on a charge of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, a third-degree felony, court records stated.
A second charge — theft by deception, a third-degree felony — was added to the case, which stems from an alleged incident on Oct. 1, 2014, in Eldred Borough.
Moyer waived her hearing, and she will next face the allegations in McKean County Court. She is free on $2,500 unsecured bail.
