    Port Allegany man serving prison time for theft case

    SMETHPORT — A Port Allegany man accused of theft and fraud was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court.

    Stacy A. Yeager, 37, will serve nine to 23 months in state prison, and he will pay $2,022.29 in restitution for charges of access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking. He pleaded guilty to allegations that between Dec. 16 and 26, Yeager stole a check for $525 and made $1,497.29 in charges to someone else’s Discover card.

    Brandon S. Brooks-Ledbetter, 20, of Bradford, was sentenced to 29 days to two years minus one day in McKean County Jail with credit for 29 days of time served for a charge of cruelty to animals. He pleaded guilty April 6 to allegations that on Jan. 27, he smashed a kitten into a wall, causing a broken spine and pelvis breaks; also, the kitten had mold growing on it from lying in feces. The kitten had to be euthanized.

    Mark C. Mullins, 41, of Smethport, will serve three to seven years in state prison for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked-third offense and summary charge.

    John S. Belleville, 50, of Bradford, was sentenced to 16 months to five years in state prison for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.

    Mark Carlson of East Smethport was sentenced to 41 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 46 days of time served for a charge of simple assault. He pleaded guilty on April 6 to allegations that on Jan. 14, he choked a woman after a verbal altercation.

    Alyson L. Moore, 42, of Rew, will serve 60 days to one year in McKean County Jail for a charge of simple assault and a summary charge. She was found guilty by a jury on March 29. Court records filed at the time Moore was first charged indicated she punched a 16-year-old girl in the head and kicked her in the back while she was on the ground.

    Aaron C. Winsor, 38, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault.

    Ryan L. McClellan, 31, of Mount Jewett, will serve one year of probation for one charge of theft by unlawful taking.

    Daniel A. Caputy, 28, of Cyclone, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and summary charges.

    Sherry L. Vossler, 63, of Smethport, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.

    Elizabeth A. Knapp, 31, of Port Allegany, will serve nine months of probation for a charge of disorderly conduct and a summary charge.

    Misty M. Good, 32, of Bradford, will serve nine months of probation for a charge of retail theft.

    Chandra B. Wedge, 32, of Bradford, will serve six months of probation for a charge of disorderly conduct and a summary charge.

    Derik N. Nelson, 18, of Bradford, will pay a $100 fine for a summary charge of public drunkenness.
