Walker Business & Staffing Services Inc. has acquired the assets of Staffing Plus Inc., expanding its customer base in Bradford and Olean, N.Y.

In 2016, Walker purchased the assets of MM Temps in Bradford when the owner decided to retire which increased its customer and employee base.

“We are once again thrilled to be expanding our service in Olean and Bradford while working with talented staff, dedicated temporary employees and wonderful new clients”, said President and CEO of Walker Business & Staffing, Voni Walker.

Staffing Plus Inc. had also been in business for 25 years, with offices in Olean and Bradford when John Survil and Donna Skinner asked Voni Walker to purchase their assets so they could retire.

Walker Business & Staffing Services Inc., has been providing temporary staffing since 1992 and has had a physical presence in the Bradford marketplace for over 10 years and in the Olean and surrounding area market for over 15 years. They have begun to transition and integrate current clients and temporaries into their current business structure and employees will begin working under the Walker Business & Staffing Services Inc. name on Monday.

Walker also had this to say, “Nothing will change except the name of the company on employee’s paycheck. All current clients and temporary workers at each location will continue as normal.”

Walker also announced Lara Ericson, staffing coordinator of Staffing Plus, will continue on with Walker Business Staffing in the same capacity at the Bradford location. The Bradford office shares office space inside the PA Career Link at 40 Davis Street, Bradford.
