DUBOIS — Mitch Vleminckx accounted for four of Bradford’s 16 firsts as the Owls roared to a 120-30 victory over DuBois in their track and field dual meet on Tuesday.
Vleminckx continued to add to his growing list of quadruples with firsts in the 100, 200 and 400 sprints as well as the long jump.
The Owls also got doubles from John Eakin (shot, discus) and Logan Caruso (1,600 and 3,200).
Pole vaulter Jack Kellam put himself in the Owls’ record book with his first place finish.
“Kellam’s jump of 13-01 is the 10th best on our all time list,” Bradford coach Tom Tessena said.
“Our 400 relay team of Matt Stafford, Mike Bosworth, Andy Pantuso and Donnie Pattison ran a :45.1 which is the fastest time this year. Matt also had a personal best in the intermediate hurdles, which he won, and he ran well in the high hurdles and the 200.
“Eakin had good distances in his throws and Jaron Ambrose ran three very good races,” Tessena continued. “Tyler Kraft had a personal best in the 800 and Nate Blauser had two good relay races.
“Vinnie Bizzaro had a good day on his two relays and the 800. He ran three good races. Bosworth had a personal best in the 400, and Andy Pantuso had a personal best in the long jump,” Tessena pointed out.
Bradford, 4-0 on the season, will take part in the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday.
