EARTH DAY: For Earth Day today, we are letting you know about the local cleanups our readers can still take part in that have been registered for the Great American Cleanup of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.

• Bradford Main Street Program Historic Downtown Bradford Spring Cleanup, 9 a.m. to noon today, rain date of April 29, Main Street and one block beyond to East Corydon and Boylston streets
• Kane Lions Club Spring Cleanup, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, rain date of Sunday, West Kane Road
• Shippen Township cleanup, 8 a.m. to noon today, 1681 Rich Valley Road, Emporium
• Emporium Garden Club’s EGC Highway Pick-up, 8 a.m. today, Route 120 in Cameron County towards St. Marys
• Second Ward Neighborhood Partnership Project annual cleanup and greening event, 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, rain date of April 30, Second Ward/Maplewood Avenue, Bradford
• Bradford Area High School Green Club Keepin It Green, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, rain date of April 30, Interstate Parkway and West Washington and West Corydon streets
• Hallton Locals Hallton Cleanup, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, canoe launch at the intersection of River and Hallton roads
• PA CleanWays of McKean County, 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, rain date of April 29
• Ridgway Borough Spring Clean-up, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 1, 108 Main St.
• DCNR Bureau of State Parks/Sizerville State Park Volunteer Spring Clean-Up Day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 6
• Learning Out Loud Community Cleanup, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 6 in Galeton Borough
