RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old Wilcox woman who died overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

Kaitlyn Marie Buerk died either Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, police reported. Officials did not say how she died or whether any suspicious circumstances exist.

Buerk’s death remains under investigation.
