ELDRED — The Eldred World War II Museum will host “A Night at the Museum” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The museum will open at 6 p.m., and the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. It is free of charge, although donations are accepted.
Director Steve Appleby will lead a guided tour through the museum highlighting new additions and amazing stories. This event is part of a monthly series of events at the museum commemorating the 75th anniversary year of 1942.
“We have many new artifacts added to displays, and we hope to use these to make the museum come to life,” said Appleby.
Next month, April 22, the museum will highlight the story of the Doolittle Raiders and their epic mission to strike back at the Japanese after Pearl Harbor. The museum is always striving to generate new interest in the museum and its mission to teach young people about the “Greatest Generation” and their struggle to defeat a terrible evil.
