Bradford area motorists are spending $2.575 a gallon for unleaded, self-serve gasoline this week, according to the American Automobile Association Fuel Gauge Report.
Elsewhere across the region, the average price for gas stands at $2.610 a gallon, which is down four cents from last week’s price. AAA officials said the nationwide average price for gas is $2.31 a gallon, which is a drop of three cents from last week, four cents per gallon on the month, and prices have moved lower for 14 of the past 15 days. AAA officials said despite this recent trend lower, retail averages are up by 46 cents per gallon as compared to one year ago.
