Several students from Bradford Area High School had been selected to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educator’s Association (PMEA) District 2 Choir Festival that was held Jan. 11-13. Bradford participants were, front row from left, Danny Fedak, Hannah Ruttan and Mikayla Bond; and back row from left, Brandon Hallock, Austin Reese and Katie Wedge. Missing are Amanda Dincher and Hannah Hooten. This year’s festival included 190 of the best high school musicians from approximately 40 school districts. The guest conductor was O. David Deitz, a fine arts consultant for the Pennsylvania Department of Education and retired choral music teacher of Central Dauphin High School. The festival host is Andrew Dutko, director at Bradford High. A public concert was presented on Friday in the high school auditorium.
