A Rew man suffered moderate injuries in a crash about 2:40 a.m. Thursday on Minard Run Road.
Bradford Township Police said a car driven by Joshua Switzer, 28, was traveling east on Minard Run Road when it struck a deer, left the north portion of the road, sheared off a utility pole, spun again and went into a ditch.
Switzer had to be removed from the car by Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department members. He suffered moderate injuries and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment, police said.
Along with the fire department, police were assisted on the scene by the Bradford City ambulance and Penelec.
